Sara Bubb helps staff in schools develop. She does this in many ways: through leading professional development, assessing, developing schemes, researching, and writing.
She works part-time at the Institute of Education and spent 3 years as the consultant for Chartered London Teacher for London Challenge. Sara is directing the TDA funded Staff Development Outcomes Study and is a member of the TDA Research Advisory Group
With a national and international reputation in the induction of new teachers and professional development, Sara speaks at conferences and runs courses throughout the country and abroad (e.g. Norway, Greece) on topics such as induction; helping staff develop; leadership, management, observation and pedagogical skills; leading CPD; subject leadership; monitoring teaching; preparing for Threshold; and performance management. She has featured on and been a consultant for Teachers TV programmes. She trains a broad range of people, including inspectors, assessors, advisers, consultants, support staff, as well as trainee, newly qualified, Fasttrack, TeachFirst and advanced skills teachers. She has inspected over 25 primary schools. Sara assesses advanced skills, excellent, overseas trained and graduate teachers and higher level teaching assistants and was an external assessor for Threshold.
